Install the app
Pick the device you fly with. You can add the others later; one account covers all of them.
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and install MagentaLine. On a Mac with Apple silicon it runs as an iPad app.
Open the App StoreInstall MagentaLine from Google Play on your phone or tablet.
Open Google PlayDownload the installer and run it. The Windows build is a beta and the installer is not yet code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn on first run: choose More info, then Run anyway.

Sign in with your account
Create your account in the app, or sign in with the one you already have. Your 14-day trial starts the first time you sign in on the app.

Download data for where you fly
In the app's Downloads screen, pick the charts, plates and airport data for your region. Everything you download works with no connection; live weather and traffic need one.

Add your aircraft and plan a route
Add a tail number and performance profile, then build a route and read the weather briefing. Connect a GDL 90 receiver over Wi-Fi when you're at the airplane to see traffic.
